Terms and Conditions
Last updated: February 12, 2026
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of and access to SocialIndex's websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Codeshaper. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- You / Your: The person or entity using the Service.
- We / Us / Our: Codeshaper and its affiliates.
- Content: Text, images, reviews, data, and other materials submitted or displayed through the Service.
- User Content: Content you submit, including reviews, business information, and widget configurations.
2. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We may notify you of material changes by email or a notice on the Service.
3. Use of the Service
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Service if you are a direct competitor or if we have previously suspended or terminated your account.
3.2 Account
To use certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3.3 Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time without liability.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
Paid plans are billed through our payment provider (e.g. Paddle). By subscribing, you agree to the applicable pricing and billing terms. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
5. Your Content and Conduct
You are responsible for Your Content. You must not use the Service to: (a) violate any law or third-party rights; (b) collect or display reviews in a way that violates platform policies (e.g. Google, Facebook); (c) send spam or unsolicited messages; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our or others' systems; or (e) use automated means to scrape or abuse the Service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that we believe violate these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
We own the Service, our branding, and our technology. You retain ownership of Your Content. By submitting Your Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with the Service (e.g. to show reviews in widgets and to operate the platform).
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g. Google, Facebook) for review aggregation. Your use of those platforms is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT REVIEW WIDGETS, AGGREGATION, OR THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Codeshaper, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may cancel your account and subscription in your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Codeshaper is established. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
